Return to the Cité
It's gray today, but what matter. We're back at 8317. We've been here 4 days and feel like we've never left though it's been 2.5 years. Catherine and Christophe greeted us as if we'd seen them a few months ago. The reception area has been renovated since we were here. It's quite nice. It was nice to find a set of clean towels, an electric kettle, some food provisions, and toilet paper. Thanks to the previous occupants, we appreciate that.

I purchased the electric kettle and a full length mirror from Kazue, a Japanese artist who earned her MFA at VCU and worked in one of the Japanese ateliers for 6 months or so. The world seems to be getting smaller, which should make it easier to get to Paris, oui?
Great, the electric kettle is so good. Thanks for doing that. Ditto the mirror.
