A Collection of resources and opinions collected by previous residents of the Cite Internationale des Arts designed for english speaking artists and musicians who are working or planning to work in Paris. Many ateliers at the Cite keep a "black book" in their pantry of reviews, suggestions, comments, anecdotes. We hope this blog will serve those who are planning a residence at the Cite as well as provide a place for past residents to make contributions to this knowledge bank.
The Jardin du Plants is a 20 minute walk from the Cite. It is also close to the Grande Mosque where one can have a tea and pastry in the enclosed garden there or visit their hammam.
An interesting view of Notre Dame as well as a place to study Tango when the weather is right.
The garden behind Notre Dame offers one of the best views of the Seine as well as a sandbox and playground.
